The bench monument consists of a polished seat supported by two legs or a pedestal.  All five surfaces of the seat are available to be inscribed with whatever you might wish.  Some benches can be a place to inter cremation remains when the pedestal has recesses to receive the remains.  A bench can provide that unique quiet place to remember that special one.
