The slant monument has a steeply sloped front polished face and sides, which
are usually rock pitched. The vertical back is usually sawn but can be
polished. The polished face is taller than a pillow monument and affords a
greater degree of flexibility in your design. This stone has the advantage of
being relatively inexpensive and yet commands a presence in the cemetery.
Slant monuments can be provided either without or with a granite base as shown
here.
Of course, various options can be added such as black and white or color
photographs, flower vases, concrete borders and so forth.
