These monuments typically consist of a vertical granite tablet with polished
vertical front and back placed on a base of granite. These tablets can be
polished only front and back, polished back, top and front or polished on all
sides. Those surfaces not polished can be left either sawn for a relatively
rough finish, honed for a fairly smooth but not polished finish or rock pitch
where the stone is very rough as if it were broken. The base is usually
polished only on top with the sides left rock pitched. This monument gives you
that look of tradition but can now be customized though the use of an
innovative design.
Of course, various options can be added such as black and white or color
photographs, flower vases, concrete borders and so forth.
